An Introduction to me....

Ever feel like you have so much potential but you get so overwhelmed by the level of information that’s available? If you can relate to this statement, then welcome to a blog of a struggling academic weapon in her final year of university. It has taken a lot to get here from tears, all-nighters, motivational prep talks, and many treats of dropping out. I know I am not alone! 

Each week we will be exploring a new hot topic that is somehow related back to my course
content. We live in a world of information overload, so it can vary depending on my hyperfixation, but hopefully we can all learn together. 

I have a good interest in business but love real-life examples of businesses and how they go from nothing to the best with all the ups and downs involved. Who doesn't love a struggle story... hello, it’s a major part of who I am.? 

Backstory: I am from a little place in a rural village in Offaly, which is home to maybe 750 people and a lot of cows. I moved to Waterford for university 3 years ago and never looked back. The biggest change wasn’t the charge in volume of people, the variety of activities, or even the noise; the biggest change was no longer being landlocked. Waterford had 53 beaches on its coast, and shamefully, I have struggled to see more than about 10. 

This first blog is short and sweet, a simple sprinkle of the potential of topics. We will do a weekly dose of what the hyperfixation topic is and expand from there.
